The slogan "out with the old, in the with new" seems to be poignant as we approach the end of 2008.
So many of my clients and friends have had a rather tough year for one reason or another, myself included. And as this year draws to a close it is time to "take stock" and perhaps release some old, outdated ways of thinking and acting. But before I toss out mine I am going to thank YOU dear reader for "visiting my blog, my world and my thoughts" just as much as I am thankful for all the stuff that has happened this year. I am grateful for the positive as well as the negative events that have come my way, as they all were wonderful opportunities to learn, adjust, develop new view points and grow.
I am truly grateful.
And with renewed hope and vigor I say: bring on 2009!!!
I sincerely hope that the journey through next year will be an equally rewarding one - for both YOU and me.
All The Best Wishes

Soon
I have been busy using the Austrian Energy Therapy within my Kinesiology practice for months now, and I haven't been disappointed (as I had been in the past with other modalities I had learned) - it works brilliantly and the results are good!!
Therefore, I have started translating the German manual into a sort of coherent English (which has proofed difficult in places) and hope to have it finished by the end of the year, and seriously thinking of holding a weekend seminar for Kinesiologists in the spring of 2009.
Watch this space - I will keep you updated on developments and possible dates.
Sending you positive energy in these turbulent times.

Wow!
It is the middle of October and the energies which reeked havoc around the world are starting to settle - and the same is true for my personal life. Therefore, I feel I have got a bit of a breather and "space" to fill you in on my adventure training in the Austrian Energy Therapy.
One week in a small German village, with mainly a farming community, living in an old farm house in the middle of nowhere, being fed a strict ayurveda diet (down to the host who had trained in ayurvedic traditions for many years), plus doing some self-development whilst learning new skills, has left it's mark!
We meditated, searched for, found and worked with our inner child, developed a certain sensitivity to energies present within ourselves, within our fellow participants, within the workshop room and our general environment. By day three we were on a high - perhaps because our senses were hightened by starvation, being fed small portions of specially prepared ayurvedic food only. We also had subjected ourselves to an ayurvedic massage, which took me (and all the others who undergone that treatment) to the edge of my innermost core and turned out to be hugely emotional ( I am still feeling the effects today - and I mean that in a positive way!). It wasn't all hard work though, we had great fun, mucking about like children as many inhibitions fell wayside.
But the most fascinating shift happened once we started using the symbols of the Austrian Energy Therapy. We painted them on our bodies, we drew them on pieces of paper, placing them in "our space" as well as in- and outside the house, and made our own specific remedies using the symbols (similar to the homeopathic principal). The effects could be felt almost immediately - the group dynamic shifted, people opened up and instead of just tolerating one another a much deeper, loving feeling took over - hard to put into words! Apart from emotions, peoples bodies changed too. In a short space of time reports of pain free backs, settled stomachs, greater flexibility of joints, etc, etc were made - it was fascinating to witness all these benefits.
My overriding thought was: I need to bring these symbols, their application and their benefits to the U.K.!
Now, does that mean I'll give up my beloved Kinesiology? No, not at all, quite the contrary, I am going to incorporate the Austrian Energy Therapy (although a stand alone therapy in its own right) into my existing practice - as the muscle test is a valuable tool "showing" the client the instant transformation that has taken place (i.e. the change in muscle response, before and after). The Austrian Energy Therapy complements Kinesiology easily and comfortably!

Apologies
I am sorry for having been away from my blog for so long - life has taken over and has put a number of challenging events into my path. Furthermore, my health has taken a battering, due to stress I guess, and even though I am on the road of recovery life is getting back to normal rather slowly!
It might take a little while longer for me to be able to 'fill you in' on the experience I had whilst on the seminar of the Austrian Energy Therapy. In the meantime I want to thank you for your patience and hope you will visit soon to read the next installment.
Take care

Finally!
The time had come to set off to Munich. A couple of hours drive took me into the heart of Germany's "alternative" county called Allgäu. One could perhaps compare it to Somerset in the U.K. in terms of "alternative" happenings. Thanks to my satnav I found the old farm house aptly called "angels place". As it turned out I was the last to arrive in a group of ten participants but was warmly greeted by all of them. I was intrigued to find out that they were all women mainly from Germany and Switzerland and all have trained as naturopaths and then incorporated some other modalities like Reiki and Reflexology. Therefore, coming from the U.K. and being a Kinesiologist (with quite a list of other modalities under my belt) made me the odd one out - in more ways than one - because I am of Austrian nationality.
However, the landscape was beautiful, the farm house we were in was fascinating and the people were intriguing - I began to wonder what the course and it's contents would be like?
More of that in my next blog, in the meantime, as always, if you need more info now, please visit www.energy4health.co.uk

Every cloud has a silver lining
Well, a few months had passed after the initial disappointment, but the interest about the Austrian Energy Therapy has never left me. Therefore, I decided to search the German websites again and there I came across the shop where I bought the book "Medizin zum Aufmalen" plus the Körbler dowsing rod, an ultra violet pen (to paint symbols onto the skin) plus other bits and bobs.
It all arrived within a couple of days and my fascination was rekindled, I had to find suitable training dates!! Off I went again trawling the net and as if by magic there it was, right in front of me - the answer to all my prayers: One Week Intensive Training Course for existing practitioners.
I checked my diary frantically and bingo, this week was the one I could do!! I was overjoyed, especially as I could do it in one week. Of course I had concerns about how intense it would be, but what the heck I would deal with that later - all I wanted to do is book, book, book!!!
I will let you know in my next blog how I got on. If you need more info now please visit www.energy4health.co.uk

Excitement!
You can perhaps imagine how excited I was having had this info from my dear friend that healing can be affected by drawing symbols directly onto the body!!!! I had to find out more and I had to learn this intriguing modality.
So, off I went trawling through the web trying to find out more about the Austrian Energy Therapy. To my amazement I couldn't find anything written up in English. Good thing that I am a German speaker, realizing that all the info was to be found on Austrian, German and Swiss German sites only. The more I read the more I was convinced that I had to train in this field and incorporate it into my existing practice using mainly Kinesiology.
Unfortunately, it meant having to go back and forth to Germany or Austria for several weekend seminars, involving not only a lot of travel but also a substantial amount of money. And to top it all literally none of the dates available fitted in with my already busy schedule!! I got quite deflated - thinking I will have to wait another year - what a let down after the initial hype!
Shall we call it "The Rise and Fall of Beatrix and The Austrian Energy Therapy"????

At the Beginning
You probably wonder how I "found" the Austrian Energy Therapy. But perhaps this therapy found me!?
It all started in 1983 when a very good friend of mine, who is Austrian, introduced me to his "yogi" from Amsterdam. This "yogi" spends his live living and breathing yogic traditions. He also uses a dowsing pendulum to determine which homeopathic remedies are necessary for his clients as well as his own health and well-being. Ever since I met the "yogi" I was fascinated with "subtle energies" and have spent my live gathering information relating to this realm and incorporating it into my private live, and since 1994 also into my professional live. My dear old Austrian friend has done virtually the same which we often use as an opportunity to lengthy chats about what's going on within the "alternative world" in Austria and in the U.K.. And it was he who first trained in the Austrian Energy Therapy telling me how exited he was with the success it produced treating his clients.
So you see - it was word of mouth which got me started on the Austrian Energy Therapy.

New to the U.K.
For the past several months I have been working with the Austrian Energy Therapy/Körbler Symbols (after Erich Körbler) for which I trained on the continent – and the success I have been getting with my clients has absolutely blown me away!
I will soon be in a position to share this exciting information with you knowing that it has the potential to take the treatments practitionrs give to the next level. The most exciting aspects are to be able to test for the degree of occurring imbalance and take action accordingly. For example painting symbols straight onto the skin as well as being able to prepare “New Homeopathic” remedies tailor made to the individual client and his/her situation.
For more info watch his pace (or if you can't wait visit www.energy4health.co.uk).
