Wow!

It is the middle of October and the energies which reeked havoc around the world are starting to settle - and the same is true for my personal life. Therefore, I feel I have got a bit of a breather and "space" to fill you in on my adventure training in the Austrian Energy Therapy.

One week in a small German village, with mainly a farming community, living in an old farm house in the middle of nowhere, being fed a strict ayurveda diet (down to the host who had trained in ayurvedic traditions for many years), plus doing some self-development whilst learning new skills, has left it's mark!

We meditated, searched for, found and worked with our inner child, developed a certain sensitivity to energies present within ourselves, within our fellow participants, within the workshop room and our general environment. By day three we were on a high - perhaps because our senses were hightened by starvation, being fed small portions of specially prepared ayurvedic food only. We also had subjected ourselves to an ayurvedic massage, which took me (and all the others who undergone that treatment) to the edge of my innermost core and turned out to be hugely emotional ( I am still feeling the effects today - and I mean that in a positive way!). It wasn't all hard work though, we had great fun, mucking about like children as many inhibitions fell wayside.

But the most fascinating shift happened once we started using the symbols of the Austrian Energy Therapy. We painted them on our bodies, we drew them on pieces of paper, placing them in "our space" as well as in- and outside the house, and made our own specific remedies using the symbols (similar to the homeopathic principal). The effects could be felt almost immediately - the group dynamic shifted, people opened up and instead of just tolerating one another a much deeper, loving feeling took over - hard to put into words! Apart from emotions, peoples bodies changed too. In a short space of time reports of pain free backs, settled stomachs, greater flexibility of joints, etc, etc were made - it was fascinating to witness all these benefits.

My overriding thought was: I need to bring these symbols, their application and their benefits to the U.K.!

Now, does that mean I'll give up my beloved Kinesiology? No, not at all, quite the contrary, I am going to incorporate the Austrian Energy Therapy (although a stand alone therapy in its own right) into my existing practice - as the muscle test is a valuable tool "showing" the client the instant transformation that has taken place (i.e. the change in muscle response, before and after). The Austrian Energy Therapy complements Kinesiology easily and comfortably!
